On top of the Empire State Building, a magical sensation, thinking of Lewis Wikes Hine,
the photographer who followed the work of the building in 1930-31 and being fascinated
by reading the letter of Helen Keller (blind and deaf from early age)
where she describes her presence on the top of the building:
"I was pleasantly surprised to find the Empire Building so poetical.
…
As I stood there 'twixt earth and sky, I saw a romantic structure wrought by
human brains and hands…
I heard the hammer of Thor ring when the shaft began to rise upward".
